- Press the ‘Home‘ button on the remote five times
- Press the UPWARD arrow button
- Press the REWIND button twice, and then press the FORWARD button twice.
- Your Roku device will undergo a restart, and the cache will be cleared
Clearing the cache by resetting the device
In this method, we’ll use on-screen prompts, and finally, by entering the 4-digit code, we can clear the device cache.
- Press the home button on the remote and select ‘Settings‘.
- Navigate to ‘System‘ and then select ‘Advanced system settings‘.
- Choose the ‘Factory reset‘ option.
- An input box will appear on the screen along with a 4-digit code.
- Enter the code to initiate the factory reset.
Wait until the Roku reset is complete.

In the Roku Ultra, the tiny reset button is located under part of the device, but in some other models, you can see it on the side portion.

How to clear the cache of a specific app on your Roku TV?
It is possible to clear the cache of a particular application installed on your Roku TV. For example, if you have installed streaming applications like Netflix, and it is showing some glitches like buffering issues, you can simply cache of that particular application and can solve minor issues.
